I went over to the Queenstown Outlets last night and was wondering why there are so few places to eat over there. It seems like it would be a natural spot to throw a couple of more places.

I believe it has to do with Sewer allocations. Food service requires much more water and sewer and the Town of Queenstown cannot give them that much.
I asked this questions years ago and some of the older folks at the fire house who know everything about the town gave me that answer.

Too bad they can't make good pizza. It's terrible. Sadly it was good when they first opened. Scaling back on the quality of ingredients used ruins it. Last time I was there the cheese was rubbery when cooked.

Please feel free to visit the Queenstown Premium Outlets and try D'Alessio's wood fired pizza (they have a great crab pizza); they are located next to Yankee Candle. We also have Subway, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Chick-fil-A, Four Brothers Mobile Cafe, and Rita's.

Maybe the idea is to have people in the stores shopping, not eating. Most outlet centers of that size and larger don't have a large selection of eateries, just the kind to provide sustenance so you can keep spending money.

Guess Queenstown Premium Outlets need to update their website since they only list Auntie Anne & Subway available for food. www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/store_listing.asp?id=99I haven't been to the outlets since last November. I just don't find the prices to be that great.

When ll bean left, that was kind of the end for me. I rarely go there anymore. You're right about the prices; I don't want to go ANYWHERE near Gucci, you can't park, and it's just not the place it was years ago. Annapolis mall has turned into some sort of monster as well over the years. I guess it's all good for the store and mall oweners, but as a shopper I find it a less than comfortable experience.

Nike store has great deals. UA is cheaper there than at the mall. Old Navy is decent as is the Columbia store

With food and clean restrooms, people can spend much more time and money. Ocean City outlets and Rehobeth outlets both have a ton of places to eat. You don't need to get in your car and drive somewhere else for food.
