I was in there Friday night, two guys working in there and nobody else in there. The two guys working were waiting to see if their store was going to be closed along with a number of other Radio Shacks. Radio Shack just never kept up the times and little to offer compared to the internet or the bigger electronics stores. How many people go into buy a resister or a diode to fix an electronic device any more? I only happened in there because they had the best supply of watch batteries than did any of the drug or hardware stores.

We go in every now and again to buy various electronic bits and pieces, because where else are you going to go? These guys changed their staff and inventory a few years ago, and nothing was ever the same. The latest crop of staff has been at least pleasant enough, but there is not the same level of knowledge, I'm afraid, as before. I wish they would go back to their old business model.
