So this thoughtful person, blocks two spaces including a handicapped space. Thank you for making a handicapped person go further in the snow No, she wasn't handicapped, ran to the car, no handicapped plate, placard, etc. Where do these people come from?

Well, she IS from Delaware - - - their tags are almost considered handicapped tags by default (and keep your shorts on, random upset people...it was just a JOKE)

It is 20% off Saturday at Big Lots, this always brings out the "I can park how I dam please" crowd.

My take on the drivers here, both locals and from surrounding states:
First, Maryland drivers vary. Baltimore drivers are different than Eastern Shore drivers, who drive differently than Waldorf drivers.... Not that any of them are great. The one thing that I see that they all share is that most don't use their turn signals. It's dangerous and basically inconsiderate. You can be at a 4-way, or waiting for a parking spot, and no turn signal... PA: What I've noticed is that if a PA driver is on a 3 lane road, they will not budge from the right lane to let someone merge and they even speed up to not let you in. They also don't know how to merge after tolls, or any kind of "yield" is just not understood. The reason is probably that the roads up their barely have a merge lane, so they just don't get it. Delaware: Slow! That car that is in the left lane going exactly 55MPH, always Delaware. They won't move either. You can tailgate, beep, it doesn't matter. Virginia - If someone is going to hit you in a crosswalk, it's a VA driver. No patience. They also don't know how to turn. A VA driver will stop in the middle of the road to make a right turn, seriously. The most annoying thing about VA drivers has to be the constant tapping of the breaks. Break lights are always lighting up for no apparent reason. This is crazy annoying when you are stuck in traffic. Tap tap tap... New Jersey: They drive crazy fast and also don't use the turn signal. Similar to MD drivers, but a bit more reckless. NY: NYC drivers outside of NYC just drive slow. Long Island drivers are aggressive slow drivers. You can be going down a road at 55 MPH with no one behind you, and if a car pulls out in front of you going half the speed that you were going, it's a LI driver.
Weird how people drive very differently from state to state and region to region.

My gripe with the inconsiderate drivers is at the Valero on Rt 8. These a$$holes roll into the first lane blocking the first two gas pumps so they can go inside and get a pack of smokes. Because they park between the pumps, you can't use either pump, and have to walk out from under the cover to get inside. Yesterday, young kid in an F150 pickup was inside reading magazines while people walked out into the icy area to get around his truck. What an a$$hole!

My inconsiderate driver pet peeve is: the car owners at gas stations that use one of the (few) pumps that pump diesel. At Exxon, there are only two diesel pumps. As a diesel driver, I frequently wait for others to finish up before I can pull into the diesel pump (they're usually pumping regular gas and/or lolly-gagging in the store). There are what, 16 pumps at Exxon---and only 2 for diesel. If you're pumping gas, PLEASE get it from one of the other "regular" gas pumps!?!!?!?!

I have been driving oil cars for many years now and have learned to accept this. To most drivers there is no such thing as a diesel car. I have on more than one occasion after being told that I'm making a mistake by putting diesel in my car, replying that I get better "gas" mileage by using diesel. My inconsiderate driver pet peeve is: the car owners at gas stations that use one of the (few) pumps that pump diesel. At Exxon, there are only two diesel pumps. I always wonder why people drive in the dark, rain, and fog without their lights on. ...and ALWAYS a white or gray vehicle, the very worst color to be driving in poor visibility conditions with no lights...

I leave my lights on 24/7 because it will be that one time that I don't have them on in the rain, fog, snow or whatever that I get pulled over or run into because they're not on. Just wait until the bridge trolls figure out how to enforce the "Lights on for Safety" revenue stream from the bridge. Yeah, I think I'll just continue to be a "Effing Retard" and you just keep on being you.

I guess I am a moron then as I have my fog lights on when my headlights are on. After all it is my truck and well I see no harm in it and if it bothers you then oh well.

Actually, for my two cents, the worst kind of driver is the one who fails to yield to others knowing full well the other driver just does not want to risk hitting their car. For example: at the bridge when you have bumper to bumper traffic, after the toll booths, "most" folks will alternate allowing cars to slip between one another, like a zipper closing. Common courtesy. Unfortunately, there is always the one driver who stays right on the bumper of the car in front of them so as not to allow ANYONE to get in front of them. In some cases, they even speed up if there is even a hint of a space in which another car could get the nose of their car in front of them. All this just to gain ONE space in the line!
One other thing.. that Allstate" commercial about "women" being safer drivers than men? Well, how many times have you seen that young, female driver do something stupid on the road and you had to do something to avoid an accident? They are long gone, not realizing they almost caused an accident, but, as far as they are concerned, they are a "safe" driver! Uh-huh!

As far as the lights, I have taught my child that lights are for people to see you not just for you to be able to see where you're going.
As a woman I agree that women are not all that safe. I watched a woman struggle to make a left turn at an intersection because she could only use one hand. Her other hand was holding her phone to her ear. One of many examples I have witnessed.
My pet peeve is people who hit their brakes no less than 50 times going over the bridge.
On a side note, my husband narrowly missed being hit by the vehicle that was traveling in the wrong direction on the Kent Narrows earlier this evening (with no lights on). Prayers to those involved.

One of these days when I have a car with switchable fog lights I might just adjust them up and left and put high intensity bulbs in them. Then when people insist on leaving them on, after I flash them I will turn on mine.

Never knew fog lights on meant the same as having your high beams on. Learn something new every day Fog lights are not equivalent to high beams. Fog lights are at a very different angle. While someone may see fog lights on during the day as a pet peeve, it is a "no harm, no foul" situation with no correlation to driving at dusk or in bad weather with no lights on.

Then when people insist on leaving them on, after I flash them I will turn on mine. What exactly is your point here? Fog lights are the opposite of high beams, why do fog lights bother you? If you adjusted your fog lights up and put high intensity bulbs in them they would no longer be fog lights, you would just have two sets of high beams.

In fact when high beams go on fog lights automatically go off, on my truck and Motorcycle. So not inconsiderate.
