Hurricane Joaquin now a MAJOR Hurricane. The 11pm update from the National Hurricane Center has the system as a Cat 3 with 115 mph winds and a pressure of 951 MB. Latest info, track still centered on Chesapeake Bay from the NOAA National Hurricane Center. Any predictions? Will you evacuate if this does come up the bay?

I think it changes course in my opinion. The news is trying to put everyone in panic mode.
Hopefully I'm right and it doesn't come right up the bay. Will be a hot mess if it does. I don't believe water can get up to where I am though so should be good.

Of course it changed course, it's what hurricanes do. There really should be something done about the weather business as right now it sucks. If you can't tell the weather you shouldn't be allowed to say what a storm will do, or will likely do, or could do, If you can't yell FIRE in a crowded theater I feel this should be treated the same way. It does nothing but get everyone worked up, in panic mode, even our gov't agencies put extra folks (or everyone) on standby (MORE Money), it's a joke and we're all paying for it.

Cripes, they couldn't even get their "Wide Cone of Error" close...
