Please keep in mind on Tuesday that O'Malley's camp has only visited the Eastern Shore twice since he announced.

to greensboromike As a former 40 year Baltimore resident I have seen many of the city's changes. I will tell you that beginning with Schmoke and continuing through O'Malley's regime, the City of Baltimore has continued on a downward spiral. Many of my family & friends will concur that what the City of Baltimore once was is pretty well finished. It is just a matter of who will turn out the light when they leave!! It is sad, however, it is reality. I hear and see all of the ads, yet, I see right through them and know better and will definitely consider this when I vote on Tuesday. Hope this sheds some light!!!

O'malley is only concerned with O'malley.
Hopefully O'malley will see what we think of him this Tuesday.
VOTE ERLICH!

Please keep in mind on Tuesday that O'Malley's camp has only visited the Eastern Shore twice since he announced. I know of one O'Malley visit but had not heard of the second. I haven't heard of any Ehrlich visit. Has Ehrlich been here at least twice also? (If not, then it's foolish to criticize O'Malley)

According to the Star Democrat Endorsement he has:
" For whatever reason, his camp didn’t feel it was important for Shore residents to see Mr. O’Malley much. And no Mr. O’Malley, most of the Shore doesn’t find it convenient to travel to Ocean City — apparently your campaign’s favorite destination spot — to listen to your views.
Gov. Bob Ehrlich, on the other hand, knows where the Mid-Shore is, has been here in our counties visiting schools, talking to farmers and watermen, meeting with his constituents for four years, not just during the most recent election season."
- The Star Democrat, October 29th

I saw him at the KI Day parade? this spring, very unsociable... Especially for someone running for office.
It was very impressive seeing him with his enturage(sp?) looking like secret service (NOT)
BTW, can the Baltimore News Channels GIVE ANY MORE COVERAGE TO O'MALLEY?
GEESH!
GO ERLICH!

Probably the best decision that judge has made in a while....
and yes, the hard core Dems won't like it, this one does.

Just read the article about the decision. Tend to agree with the decision, else where does it end? How many "one-more-day" extensions should be allowed? To me, none, sounds about right.
I don't buy into the conspiracy theory that more Dems vote absentee so this was a plot by the Republicans to sway the vote. I don't think either party is good enough to pull that off. I believe someone honestly screwed up and some voters who were hoping to take the easy way out will now have to work a little harder. (Yes, I appreciate that some have true hardships. I don't have a good answer for that)
However, the mess needs to be cleaned up fast! Every year there is one more reasonable challenge to the integrity of the polling process. Hanging chads, unsecure software, missing machines, late-opening polling places, inadequate number of absentee ballots, it's ridiculous. There are 365 days before the next election and 731 before the next big event. That seems like more than enough time to GET IT RIGHT FOR ONCE!

Absentee ballots are a way for dead people to vote IMHO

Man, I'll be glad when this mess is over - commercial after commercial, phone calls (couldn't this be considered a form of telemarketing), goofy looking people waving on the side of the road, signs trashing the area, etc...... My heads been spinning for weeks now

It's not that he doesn't care, it's that he knows the shore always votes republican, so why bother. He is busy in populated areas that are 'on the line' instead of a small population that will never vote for him.

I gotta say I have been a little concerned all day since last nights news said that the race was neck and neck. Then I have been getting calls all day from Republicans saying "go vote, the race is too close". ::::shiver:::: even if Erlich does come out on top tonight, it scares me a little that so many MDers are so misguided that the race won't be a landslide!

It's Baltimore and PG county....They have dead relatives vote and then they win. Or they give them rides to polling places in exchange for votes
