Sorry GBM, I live in Grasonville.
Now if you had one of those with Grasonville on it, that would be a sight to behold!!

I think maybe Greensboro is actually Kent Island misspelled

That because we aren't a bunch of lame hats that feel the need to display where we live as if it were an exotic island

Greensboro is actually Glen Burnie mispelled! Keep it a secret though, they don't know it.

You've got it backwards again Mike. If you're cheering for Glen Burnie, it's "Rah, rah, rah"!

Alright, now we're all hyped up for the weekend. The friendly banter beats the h*ll out of the stress on the "Rt. 8 Accident" thread. I couldn't handle it anymore

Frank is there to correct me again.
I just re-read this entire thread... it is genius.

You're right. In about an hour, I leave work for my home on an exotic island. The trees are bare, the ground is frozen, and it's colder than I can bear. No shorts, no flipflops, no steel drums in the distance.
BTW: "Greensboro" is not so green right now either!

You too Shadow1? So who hasn't been, well, you know... I've had CNN on all day at work and it's been all Anna all day. Geez. Now they are comparing her to Marlyn Monroe - more like Paris Hilton if anyone... "She's still dead, details at 11". No prob posting the soon to be here sticker. They're just freebies...well, they wern't free, but free to anyone who wants one.

How many people stayed home from work because of the snow? What is everyone doing for Valentine's day?

How many people stayed home from work because of the snow? What is everyone doing for Valentine's day? Hopefully watching the last Wrestling match for the year at Kent Island High, then take Mom out to dinner as it's her B'day too!

I went in just as a matter of pride. There's people that live five-ten minutes from work and called to say they weren't showing up. The 'skipper' made the announcement that we were shutting down all non-essential operations at 1430 so down the hall I went. As far as Valentine's Day, MrsMule and I will do dinner out somewhere. She just has to pick where. edit: I'll add, the jokers that didn't show up had to burn personal leave. The hour and a half that I got to use to leave early was administrative leave since it was management's decision to shut down. That's why some of us old farts got a pile of personal leave to burn for fun. ... and there will be a bunch of fussing by those that used their personal leave and how unfair the policy is.
