Does anyone have contact info for the yoga place near L&L? I've driven by their sign, but don't have any other info. Thanks!

I was also curious about the studio by L&L. After stopping by multiple times with no luck (they were always closed), I ran into one of the instructors. She was very helpful and provided a schedule. I think they also have a schedule posted on the window. Unfortunately, their schedule didn't work with mine. However, it seems like a lot of the local gyms also have yoga classes so I'm going that route. Good luck.

Red - do you have a number for them? Also, do you know if they have pre-natal yoga?

I'm not the instructor, but I know the lady who is. She is supposed to be awesome. Call her. I'll bet that she would love to have you. Ask if you could just sit in and see if it is something you would like to try.

Sorry for the delay... The studio is called Yoga East and the number is 410.604.1891 (www.yogaeast.biz). I met one of the instructors and I was impressed. However, I expect that I'll just take classes at Island Athletic. Hope the info helps.

They're talking Yoga Chevy, not meditation. Now excuse me while I move from the downward dog, into the upward dog...

They're talking Yoga Chevy, not meditation. Now excuse me while I move from the downward dog, into the upward dog... Indian Kirtan or devotional chants aren't part of the more prayerful aspects of the yogic lifestyle?

You can contact Yoga East at 410-604-1891 (you will probably get a recording but you can leave a message or it has the cell phone number of Sharon the owner on the message and she almost always has her cell phone on her). The studio is only open for classes and about 1/2 hour before and 1/2 hour after. It has a wide range of classes from beginner to experienced and beginners are more than welcome, I was a beginner and now have been doing yoga for a year with Yoga East and love it. The schedule is available at yogaeast.biz/sched-new.htm or for the complete info on all of Yoga East go to www.yogaeast.bizFrom my experience Yoga at a yoga studio is much better than yoga in a gym atmosphere. It is more relaxing and the quality of the instructors is generally better. Look for a yoga instructor that has RYT in their title...they have had hundreds and hundreds of hours of instruction.
