Damage to Road Signs - Chester Deputy Kellogg responded to a complaint of stop signs being run over with in the 100 block of Crab Court in Chester, Maryland. The County Roads Division was contacted to correct the problem and replace the signs. The suspect vehicle may be a pick up truck with aggressive style tires. Shoplifting Arrest - Chester Safeway
Deputy Kellogg responded to the Safeway store for a report of shoplifting. At the scene, Deputy Kellogg met with management and the suspect, Shahida Parveen. The suspect admitted to stealing cosmetics from the store. Parveen had hid the items inside her purse. The value of the cosmetics was $55.00. Parveen was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was later released. All the property was returned to the Safeway store.

Attempted Burglary - Stevensville Dfc. Brockman was dispatched to 100 block of Dorchester Road, Stevensville, Maryland for a report of an attempted Burglary. The victim advised Dfc. Brockman that sometime between 04/20/09 at 8:30 pm and 04/21/09 at 6:00 pm some unknown suspect attempted to enter a locked out building. The suspect tried to use a pry tool to open the door. DUI Arrest after leaving the scene of accident - Grasonville
On 04/21/2009 at approx. 2054hrs. Cpl. Lowery received information of a possible drunk driver westbound on Rt. 50 in Grasonville that struck a guardrail and continued driving. Cpl. Lowery located the suspect vehicle and stopped it at Rt. 50 @ Rt. 8. The driver was found not to have a drivers license and was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving Without a License, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, and Fail to remain at scene involving property damage. Palacios was held on $2,000 bond and also on a detainer from Immigration Customs Enforcement.

CDS Arrest - Sudlersville
On 04/22/09 at 2218 hours Deputy Gardner was working uniformed patrol in the area of Cemetery Road and Rt. 300 in Sudlersville, Maryland when he observed a vehicle (Red Ford SUV being operated without adequate rear registration plate illumination. Dep. Gardner affected a traffic stop and made contact with the driver (Barry Williams). Investigation revealed the driver's license was suspended. Williams was placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest revealed from the vehicle suspected Marijuana and prescription medication (Percocet). Williams was transported to the sheriff's office processed and taken to the district court commissioner's office

Narrative: Deputy Foster met with the victim, April Gioffre who reported a Malicious Destruction of Property and an Assault that occurred earlier in the evening. April advised that she was on Melvin Avenue when several subjects approached her vehicle and accused her of running over a dog approx. 3 weeks ago. She advised that one of the subjects punched her through her car window and they began to hit her car with a golf club and throw rocks at it causing approx. $2,000 in damages. April was familiar with the subjects but could not give their complete names. Any witnesses to this assault are asked to contact the Queen Anne's County Office of the Sheriff at (410) 758 0770.

Narrative: Dep. Foster responded to an address on Bentons Pleasure Road to investigate a suicide attempt. Upon arrival she made contact with a juvenile male who had obvious cuts to both of his wrists and had made comments on the telephone to his girlfriend that he was through with everything. The cuts were minor and medical treatment was refused. He was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for an emergency evaluation.

Narrative: Dep. Foster responded to the Best Western in Grasonville for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival she made contact with a male subject that stated he wanted to ram his head into a brick wall and he wanted to kill himself. He was placed into handcuffs for his safety to be transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for an emergency evaluation. The subject threatened to jump off the balcony of the hotel. Once he was placed into the police cruiser he became very irate and combative. He was then transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for psychiatric treatment.

Arrested: Jessica Lauren Trott (18) of Centreville, Md Charges: Underage Possession of Alcohol by a person under the age of 21
Narrative: Deputy Rickard was dispatched to the Subway in the Queenstown Outlets for a young female drinking a bottle of vodka. Deputy Rickard located the girl behind the store and identified her as Jessica Trott. Investigation determined that Trott was consuming the vodka while under the age of 21. Trott was issued a citation for possession of alcoholic beverage and released pending notification of trial.

Deputy Collins questioned students about their knowledge of the missing IPOD. Deputy Collins learned of a suspect and questioned the male. The male admitted to stealing the IPOD and wanted to sell it for money. The IPod was recovered and the male was referred to Juvenile Services for Theft under $500.
