Ki.........The driver is 18 and old enough to die for his country - He is not drinking - The beer is not opened - !8 year olds legally work where alcohol is dispensed. What ever happened to common sense? Unless there is more to this story a call to the parents would have been a better solution. What do you think?

Post by kl on Mar 17, 2009 13:27:15 GMT -4
I would concur. A call to the parents would suffice for that.

Pete - while I see your point on the old enough to die for our country... fact is - it's still the law & until it changes well they were wrong... and really what is that citation anyway??? not like the cop cuffed him & took him to centreville... i think it was appropriate - jmho

shorti...........The law should be enforced with common sense, and JUSTICE...........40,000,000 illegals in the country - 2,000 drivers licenses issued to them each week in Maryland. This also is illegal......We have a drug epidemic fueled by cash profits that have corrupted our entire legal system. Everyday we lose more of our rights to a Government that is out of control.....So what if a 18 year old has two cases of unopened beer in his car. So what!

I saw last night that Baltimore City leaders are pushing for the Baltimore City police to send out text message alerts a a price of 100,000 - 200,000 dollars for the system. I wonder if that is going to start in Queen Anne's County!

I've looked and I don't see where these calls for service are listed. I was looking for the one item in particular, the one at the Kent Island Shopping Center last Saturday. We rode by and there were police cars all over there between the Dunkin Donuts and the Bank across from it. There was a young women in the back of one police vehicles with the back door open in tears. I figured it may have been an accident, but way to many police cars for a response for a shopping center fender bender. The other thing about the QAC Sheriff's site is that there is never anything added for Satureday or Sunday. I guess nothing happens on those days. Rather amazing!
