well bchevy I have just the solution for you: Sounds like your sound card on the laptop is going a little nutty. A connection inside could be going bad or the wire that goes from the the sound card to the speakers could have gotten jarred loose. if you can get the exact model (maybe from packaging slip) I can try and find you some updated drivers to see if that works. Next step would be having a computer technician (myself see: local.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&q=computer&near=21639&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=13&ll=38.971822,-75.805836&spn=0.091553,0.16 0675&iwloc=A) To open the laptop up and check for any loose wires or a possible faulty sound card. Second cause could be high traffic on your cable connection.. can you play CD's fine or is the sound on that bad?

Don't be so harsh on yourself ljp. So you removed IE 7, and it did revert you back to version 6, which it should have done. Have you checked Windows update, to make sure that you have all patches installed for IE 6? That would be the first step. As far as Firefox, after you've downloaded and installed it, you will also have to check for any updates for Firefox also.

ok I sent you both 3 links via PM. The 2005 one works fine, the 2006 one works fine, but the 2007 one does not. You have to look at the first 2 to see how it 'should' work.
I have tried the makers of the softtware and they say all 3 work fine for them and tell me it is a browser issue on my part. I tried the folks who host the website and they tell me the same thing. I tried Microsoft and they tell me it is a setting issue, although once I uninstalled vs 7 all of the other weird things that were happening seem to have gone away, except this one.
