I'll arrange a KIO trip to Camden Yards - How many people would be interested in going in on a bus / van to see a game?

I have interest, like the idea of someone else driving as long as they are a designated driver. Would it be possible to get everyone to agree to the same day and at least decent seats? My only vices are extreme seeing distance seats and day games in july/august. Sorry, that's my deal. An alternative as a test run could be to do a Bowie Bay Sox game. Closer, cheaper and pretty good. Besides, they are an Oriole farm team.

Baysox are a lot of fun (so are the Keys, but that's closer to my stomping grounds than anyone here). It's always fun to support the farm teams (the players generally haven't learned to have their noses in the air when they are around fans, either). If I'm not mistaken (if I remember correctly; I know this is true of the Keys' stadium), I think kids can sit over in the grassy foul ball territory area beside the seats, and chase foul balls. I know we used to go to Keys games and turn the kids loose over there. Sort of "old time", which is completely unusual in this day and age. Like I said, not totally sure that's the case @ Bowie, but I haven't been to a game since the 2007 season.
And, um, unfortunately, the way the Birds have played the last few or so years, ya'll may be able to get decent seats, with little problem. I'd love to meet you there if you decide to go...it's a 15 minute ride down Rt. 40 for me (and I have a designated driver already). ;D
I miss our season tix, but we just refuse to line A's pockets any longer when he has meddled for too many years in the running of the team.

we go to the baysox all of the time, but I love going to Camden. I don't get into the politics, I just love the game...... Especially if it's good!
I prefer to sit in the field boxes as well.... like on the first or third base line....

I prefer to sit in the field boxes as well.... like on the first or third base line.... We ignored the politics as long as we could (had those tix from 2 years before the O's moved to Camden, in fact). I just couldn't stand how he tore apart a farm system that had been the envy of most of MLB and let ego get in the way of keeping good staff. Fortunately they are managing to re-build, and I like McPhail and hope that ownership will let him do what he does so well, and I think there have been some interesting additions to the team so far. I grew up a baseball fan from a tiny child (parents, bro and I all grew up playing, and in fact, all four of us were catchers) and one of my earliest memories is of the night my dad had to take my mom to the ER for a sprained ankle she received while they both played at the AmVets. I definitely understand your enjoyment of the game, Eine! I share that love of the game. But, I also no longer wanted to pay out the $ to sit in seats with Yankees and Sox fans because we can't get enough of our own fans in the seats, to watch a terrible game. Not being fair-weather, I'll always be an O's fan, just refused to line A's pockets anymore when he should have been letting baseball people run the team. Not that I have any strong feelings on the topic.... ;D

But if we have a designated driver....well then... the night games become a NON issue....cause we don't have to fight for a seat on the trains... and we can party!! LOL!! I am excited!! Can't wait... I guess we should find out what Team everyone would like to see the O's play against....and look for a good time for that game...

Is this a dead issue? Doesn't seem like much interest. I still like the idea of a Bay Sox game. A little lower key, a better ice breaker for newbies. Some may not want to be locked in a van with strangers.

I think that many are still mourning the ravens loss in the finals....and steelers winning the SB.
I am game... Ill go to Camden Yards any time!! Especially a Friday or Saturday game... or I guess the middle of the week too Ill just take the next day off....
Probably get more interest in starting it's own thread.... You know BASEBALL GAME GET TOGETHER.... I know several who will want to participate... But then again... the trick is getting tickets all in the same area...

I think that many are still mourning the ravens loss in the finals....and steelers winning the SB. Ravens fans are really going to be in mourning if Ray Lewis leaves. He's a free agent now and looking for the mega bucks. High bidder gets the man.

Jerry Jones.......there isn't enough page space to write about that guy, I mean god, or god-like. He wishes he could buy a Super Bowl, isn't going to happen.
