I'm wondering if there's any other Kent Island Cruisers Car Club members here?
Or maybe Future club members that haven't heard about us?

That's a good one, Md. sees 25 years old as "Historic" they just passed a law for "Antique" cars, being pre 1946 (I think)
Got one?

Yeah, I actually build custom cars and trucks. You should look into Ottey Automotive or Hot Rod Garage in Denton if you ever need any work done. I don't know if you do your own work or not but they are two really cool shops to check out.

I don't know Otteys, but if you use HRG you'll need a big wallet, They do GREAT work! if you can afford it.

Ottey Automotive is more for daily drivers and I know you know this but HRG does frame up restoration, but they are right next to each other.

What is the process of signing up to be a member of the Kent Island Cruisers? We are in the process of buying a classic car, and want to get involved in the club. We have been to Rita's a few times in the summer for the Tuesday gatherings. Any info or a link would be great.
Thanks!

Not since last year. Neither car is running right now. Progress is slow and when one issue is resolved another one needs to be addressed. That's the way it is with a 36 year old vehicle that was run hard and put up wet.

bchevy,
Finally got up to Rita's this past week (Tuesday?). We must have picked the perfect night to attend. My girls (and Dad) loved looking at all the classic cars. Do you generally have that many cars? I was VERY surprised by the quantity as well as the quality, although I could do without the motorcyles. Does WPOC attend all the events or did I just get lucky? A very family friendly event.

It was a great turnout! we get less than that on other Tuesdays, sometime as many as 25 or so.
