What is it going to take to put together a winning season. What is the deal.....is it management, coaching, not enough payroll. Some one tell me please. I keep watching, but I think it's time for some type of change to happen and get this club out of the cellar.
Is this why no one wanted to do a KIO trip to a game? I'm sensing a lack of enthusiasm people.

The Orioles have been in a "re-building" season since like 1998. They need to wipe everything out and start from scratch. Unfortunately the Orioles will always be a 3rd rate franchise. Some teams just stay that way forever.
Pirate, Orioles, Royals - 3rd Rate Teams from now to eternity.

Yep, it should be, BChevy; it seems we've been "rebuilding" for so long. I still enjoy baseball, tho'; it just is so hard to watch them have such a tough go of it. They have some really decent talent, but just not quite enough each year. I am hoping that now that Angelos seems to have seen the light and is trying to build back the farm system that he neglected, that we'll start seeing some of that "homegrown" talent come up through the ranks. I have faith in MacPhail, if he's left alone to do what he was hired to do.

Just in a matter of days, they have had a spark of life in them! I guess the "kids" they have coming in are bringing the enthusiasm, but whatever, suddenly they are a little more fun to watch.
I'm not a fair-weather fan, but there's only so much a life-long fan can take when you see your team torn down to the bare threads and playing really badly over the years. Thank goodness we're starting to see results coming up from the farm!
Go O's!

And here I am, stuck in Pittsburgh, where they have the equivalent of a minor league team, playing major league ball.... I wanna go home....
