There is nothing wrong with Stevensville, I live in Historic part & love it. We moved from Dominion, now that place- RUN AWAY! But I work in Annapolis, so I do get regular visits to the big city. I'm a die hard season ticket holder to the Redskins, I am a 365 day a year fan. Cowboy fan Although my husband is a Giants fan, it almost cost us a divorce, once or twice.

You should meet my british g/f who is a die hard Redskins fan.......... She lives and breathes the Redskins... Yes, I will admit it gladly...I am a Die Hard Cowboys fan. I was born into the Dynasty of Die Hard Dallas Fans and luckily married into another Family of Cowboy Fans...(we grew up in completely different states from one another)!! I believe that was the 3rd question my Daddy asked my hubby to be when we were courtin..."Boy...you a Cowboy's Fan?'' "Yes Sir" he replied! "Well then...welcome to the Family"!!! Win or Lose....we love our Boys!!! Always will.............

kl, I am a member but can't remember my password and whenever I requested my password it says it will be sent within 10 minutes and I don't get it. I will just re-register I guess. No problem.

Lynn,
When you go to retrieve your password, check your "Spam" / "Junk" folder. Because it's an automated Email responder, a lot of Email providers like Verizon toss it in the Spam box.

Does your british g/f go to the games, I happen to have an extra season ticket available this year. I have a redskin tailgating bus. We leave from Stevensville, stop in Bowie and go to the games. We have a good time. The bus is decked out, as far as football is concerned. British, my husband is from Ireland. I usually go to the new keg opening at Ramshead( usually the first Thursday of every month). My night out with a few friends from work. Although this month I will miss it, I'm going on my yearly trip to New Orleans for the Jazzfest. But maybe we could hook up on the next one, like I said I don't get out much.

19 year & still counting. What a better way to spend a vacation, eat, drink, & listen to music, all day. And no I don't like Jazz music, its only one of many tents with different music as LPJ would probably know.

Yes, I have a timeshare on Governor Nichols & Royal. I started out at the Bienville House, but as popularity grew for the Jazzfest, hotels became to expensive. I remember when I first started going, I saw Bonnie Rait & Stevie Ray Vaughn and we were right up front with room to dance around. Those days are gone. Have you ever been??

I've been. Went in 2001 (right before the birth of my 1st daughter) and stayed at the Placa 'de Arms (next to Jackson Square). The BEST vacation ever. My brother in law has been going for at least 15 years. Planning on going again soon.

Oh yea you are over there by the French Market.
I haven't been in a few years but I used to go every year. I would stay for a while at the Meridian which I think now is a Sheraton? right on Canal Street between Bourbon and Royal. Then I moved to the quarter which changed a lot, mostly I would stay at the St. Louis.
Man I miss Cafe Du Monde and Central Grocer! I actually have ordered Chickory coffee and Beignet mix over the internet! Lately I have been thinking about ordering something from Acme Seafood, MDers just can't seem to do Crawfish right! There was a place on the corner of Bourbon and I think St Peter. Called Petouts (sp?) this was an awesome place, live music sitting by open windows to Bourbon St. I have some friends going the 2nd weekend, I am starting to think I might go too!

We get muffalatas from Central Grocery every year before we fly home, then we eat them on the plane ride home and every one is salivating. Could almost sell each quater for $5 bucks a pop.

I have tried muffalatas from just about all of the country and no one does them like Central Grocery! I wish I knew their secret! Olive dressing maybe?
