Not sure how the 'tipster' thing works but shouldn't the person with the information be talking directly to the detective? If so, that phone number should be posted.
Just thinking out loud.

Please forgive me but I don't understand this post. A few days ago you said this in the forum about racing on Rt 8:
"When I complained these neighbors burglarized my home , and did $22,000.00 worth of vandalism to the house.."
If you are stating for all of us that your neighbors did this, then why didn't they get arrested? And if you are sure that they did this, then why didn't you sue them for the damages?
I really think it is not a very responsible thing to do to your neighbors, accusing them of doing this when they have not been arrested and you have not sued them for the damage.
I guess what I am saying is, if your are certain enough to tell everyone on this forum that they did this, then why is there a need to re-open the case?
Sorry, but the whole thing does not make much sense to me. They either did it or they didn't. If they did, they should have been arrested and if the police couldn't prove it, you still could have sued them.
I know I have only posted on here a few times but this whole thing has me confused, anyone else?

sarhaj.......Your assuming that the good old boy system is fair, the court system is just, and that Sheriff Crossley was a Police. Now that I have a honest Detective on this case with the backing of the new Sheriff, things are going to change. The original police report was rewritten three months after the fact, and contained over 65 mistakes. Witnesses were not interviewed. Evidence was not properly handled etc.etc.etc.. As a tax payer I should not have to spend my hard earned money doing what Sheriff Crossley was paid to do. One of the culprits who has a record for possession with intent to distribute, receiving stolen goods, drunk driving, B&E, and trespassing, admitted his involvement in this felony. If your confused please call me......bchevy, grow up boy, see you at Rita's.

My question wasn't where the money was coming from but where should the information be submitted. In my humble opinion, said information should be passed directly to the investigating officer (an essentially 'neutral' party), not the person who is filing the complaint(s). You know, it's a chain of possession thing where all info is analyzed. Not just what the person filing the complaint sees as relavent. Maybe my logic is way the h3ll out there. I don't know cuz I'm not a cop.

Through our own experience in our neighborhood, my family has found that county agencies don't always do what they're supposed to do or what makes sense. Anyone who doesn't realize it's all about who you are and who you know is in for a rude awakening when something happens to them.

Outlaw....Thank you pal......Seems these childish cheap shot artists did not follow the case of the Duke lacrosse team. States Attorney Mike Nifong proved to the world that our justice system is broken. Imagine what those boys, and their families went threw. How many other citizens felt the wrath of this politically aspirated coward with power?...... Nifong does not ride alone, you need only to mention the name of Judge John J. Sause, and you'll hear one horror story after the other.........Your right, these kids need it to happen to them, or their family before they'll understand the message.

Actually, from what I have heard, the drug dealers and criminals were put in their place with Judge Sause. From all accounts he was a no nonsense judge. It's a shame their are not more of them around like him.
Friends of ours on the western shore are police officers and the way the judge treats the criminals seems to make the officers say "why bother".
Gosh, just think about it, in the 50's, the worse thing that happened in school was cutting in line and chewing gum. Now, in schools it's guns and drug's and that's with the so called School Resource Officer present. I for one am all for a Judge like Mr Sause who apparently had no problem laying down the law and putting the bad poeple in jail.
Oh well, I guess this stuff is way over my head, but I still wonder why the case has to be re-opened if you insist that your neighbors did this. If they did this like you say, they would have to pay the fees if you sued them.
I suppose we have just been lucky and get along with all of our neighbors. By the way, when did all of this happen?

Amen Pete, I know where you are coming from. My family too was bent over by that (Moron Sheriff Crossley and Jerk Judge Sause). Those chumps should be in jail for what they did to us. We moved out of Stevensville to get away from those idiots. I am so relieved for all of you on Kent Island that you have Sheriff Hoffman on duty now.

I think that everyone is forgetting that Sheriff Hoffmann was Crossley's right hand guy, endorsed by Crossley and was there the whole time everything was going on that you all are talking about. As a matter of fact, Hoffman was a Sergeant for years, his brother is in the Investigation Division so certainly he could have worked your case but didn't. I hate to say it Pete, but I think Stevie Wonder can see that your just getting some "face time" from the new Sheriff just to pacify you. Hopefully I'm wrong on this one but if I were a betting person, I think I would win a few bucks on this one!

Charles "Pete" Richter -- I was wondering... didn't this supposed burglary happen in like 98? Was this before or after you were arrested for trespassing on someone else's property... and if they caused all of this damage to your house, wouldn't the 10,000.00 fix everything? Why are you so dead set on catching the person who did this to you... or did you do this to your house.... like the swastica on the car thing....

Good questions GBM..We'll be anxiously awaiting answers from Pete. And Pete? How the hell, and why the hell do you bring up the DUKE case? How does that translate into what happened to you, and your property? Ahhh, nevermind..Forget I asked. How about Dannilyn knowing who her real father is?
