We have a beautiful white and gray 8 yr. old Siberian Husky male available to a loving home. He is a former show dog, and is neutered, up to date on all shots, house and crate trained, and knows basic commands.
He is friendly and has a sweet disposition. He does well with older children and adults. Does not do well with cats or other small animals.
I can be contacted at smb5510@atlanticbb.net. Interested homes will be screened for suitability.

Seems kinda mean to give up a dog at 8 years old. Has he developed at behavioral (sp?) issue that causes this? I just don't know how, unless the dog's been abused and the abuser wishes to end the abuse, someone could give up a dog at 8 years old. I'd just miss the dog too much.
I don't mean to accuse, truly, I just don't understand it.
We adopted an 8 year old. She was being abused and they didn't want to deal with her death, which was near. In her new home she's blossomed and, 4 years later, she's fiesty and happy (with many issues...).
So... why are you giving him up?

Because of his pedigree and our history with him, we don't want him to end up in rescue. We would like to find a good home for him without getting him into "the system".
Thank you for the info!
