Does anyone know what happened to the Extreme Bounce Zone at the old outlets? It's been closed for several days.

From what I hear, the fire marshall came in and shut them down and told them they needed to install a sprinkler system. This is despite the fact that they were issued a use permit by the County. Additionally, there is no one else in the complex that is required to have a sprinkler system including the restaurant, the gym, or the Secret Garden.
But once the fire marshall speaks, there is nothing anyone can do. Seems rather unfair to me that someone can invest all that money in a new business, lease a space, file their permits, receive their permit, open their business and then get shut down and told they have to invest thousands of dollars in sprinkler equipment for a space they do not own or else they can't re-open.

Unfortunate for the business I agree, but the owners should be responsible for the tenant fit up and ensuring it's to code... also if the county gave it the ok... they should have honored that.... really stinks for them....

I just posted on the other forum....couldn't find this thread. They are open for business under the name Bounce Mania. I just reserved a date for my sons 8th birthday. It is awesome inside..and the owner was just wonderful. They have temporary permission to do business... Personally..if they need sprinklers..then the gym and everyone else needs them in that building...They are no more an amusment park then my back yard with the trampolene..! Barb

Okay...today we had our sons 8th birthday at Bounce Mania..and let me tell you...it was worth every penny. We had them do everything...pizza from Squizitos....Maggie Moo cake...juices.......balloons...gift bags...90 minutes in the bounce zone...Didn't have to clean up...kids had a blast...they provided the plates and plastic wear...and one of the staff was in with them when they ate and he (his name is Mark) was Fantastic!!! I would do it again. They also do face painting..but my son nixed that idea...lol Oh..and the bathrooms are pristine..and it is so clean. They make the kids wash their hands with sanitizer before they touch anything..and then after before they eat. Total cost for me being able to enjoy myself....priceless...lol...330.00... some might think that is expensive...but I would have spent more if I did it in my house..and I would have had to clean up...AND since it rained today...would have had a major migraine... Oh..one thing I learned is that they do a parents night out...its on a friday (not sure what date)...but 4 hours from 6 to 10 for 20.00..THAT is a deal....I will definatly be doing that....my son will love it. I know I sound like an advertisement..but when something is great it needs to be told. Barb

5 bucks an hour?? Your kid(s) must be at least in high school or older. 10-12 and hour is the going rate these days. so 20 bucks is a steal!

It's not about having "parents night out on the town" as much as its about having the kids "out" of the house for a few hours ... if you catch my drift.
