Ok what the heck was that!?! Last night (Sunday 4/29) @ around 3AM there was a helicopter making repeated low-altitude flyovers over Cloverfields and the central/northern part of Kent Island. I don't mean one pass - I mean like a dozen passes. You could hear it crossing overhead, going out over the water, come back. Looking out the window (cause it woke us up the noise was so loud) it looked to be ~150yards off the ground!!!! What the heck was that all about?

Could have been a police helicopter looking for a suspect or suspects.

I heard it too and I live in Grasonville, I don't remember the time, it was late though. It was so low the noise drowned out the TV. Moving pretty fast.

There was an MSP helicopter flying very low and slowly over the Chester River Beach/Harbor View area this afternoon around 3-ish. Wonder what's going on.

Why are you guys so paranoid on as to what the helicopter is doing? 1) It's Landing to do a Medivac. 2) It's assisting in the search of a suspect
Best thing to do, close and lock all doors and windows. If there is a search light in your window or yard, call you local law enforcement office and ask then what is going on and if you should be looking for anyone in particular. If it flies over and that's it it is usually landing or in transit to a landing site. This may come as a surprise to some of you, but you don't own the airspace.

Why are you guys so paranoid on as to what the helicopter is doing? Perhaps because it means something is going on in our neighborhood. If someone is hurt, it could be one of our neighbors or friends. If they are are looking for someone, it would be nice to know that so we could bring our children inside. Ah ha! You've answered your own question and we were probably right to be paranoid. Ya know, I looked over the messages in this thread several times but didn't read anything like that. I must have missed it.
