I visited this site 2 months ago and there was a section for apartments and shared living. I can not find it now, has it moved?
I am really hoping it wasn't removed under pressure by the local real estate agents.

All of our Real Estate stuff is on one page now - the "Search Real Estate" page, or directly at: kentisland.1clicklistings.comNothing has been removed. You can also ask about rentals on the Forum, or on the "Announcements" and "Swap & Shop" pages. We are working on a few new pages including an Ebay-style "Swap & Shop" (still has some bugs in it), and an automated "Announcements" page that is easier to post info on. The jobs section is up and running too - either under "Employment" or directly at www.kentislandjobs.com as well as the "Kids Corner" and Kids Calendar located off the main site. Let me know if there are any other sections that you would like to see and I'll work on it.

Are you sure that it was this site? There is another KI site that as Rich says, is a copy. I don't think that he has anything on there that isn't here though, being a copy No offense Rich, nobody reads them anyway!

I am relocating to the area for employment and have used Craigslist in the past, but there aren't very many listings at the moment. I am a white professional male looking for a shared living / room-for-rent situation until I learn the area, figure out traffic habits, etc. I am currently in my own home and have become suprisingly handy. I have no problem helping out, mowing, mulching, painting, etc (in addition to paying rent.) Thanks in advance.

I hope that you don't mind - I modified the headline to get you more attention.

I am impressed - I half expected to get flamed for the post. Instead, it was modified to bring more traffic. If this is the type of friendliness and helpfulness I can expect from Kent Island, I can't wait!

I'm not above pitching a tent for a few weeks. I don't know if I could deal with a gardenhose shower though. Maybe if you have a sprinkler system . . .

Maybe if you have a sprinkler system . . . 80+ degrees all week, a gardenhose shower would probably be OK. You just can't plug into his electric outlets. He's trying to keep his bill under $100 a month just to piss us all off! I heard he even took the bulb out of the refrigerator.

Sorry Franklin... Our bill was expensive last year, 220.00 that was in the dead of summer and we had one of those portable a/c units in our bedroom.

Terplady - if I create a profile may I contact you via the message service? I was in town on Friday and took a drive down main street, and would like to inquire about the rental.
