Today we find out who wants to stand up and defend the choice of the people, and who wants to continue to hide behind a gag order.
Any bets?
(for those who are just tuning in, the Gov has asked the QAC commish to ignore a gag order and tell the State Public Works board what they really think of the Four Seasons development. Up until now the commish (who all ran on anti-development platform) has been able to stay mute because of the 4-yr-old gag order. But now the State Att. General is saying that they DO have the right and responsibility to defend the voters that elected them. The Gov is requesting to hear their opinion)

They better represent the voters and do what they can to defeat this illegal and illegitimate pile of crap.
If they don't I highly doubt a single one of them will ever win office anywhere in this region again.

I thought Bill Evans's column was really good, in the "Bay Times" and posted on below site. Does anyone know who specifically is the attorney telling the commissioners not to speak? Is it Patrick Thompson or Drummond? Good old boys. The commissioners need to speak up, especially since Franchot has specifically asked them to. I wonder if any of them are hiding behind the gag order and don't really want to get involved. www.sentinelwhispers.com/

Hey Rich - They are trying to save Kentisland.org ;D
I think that will now mean mega lawsuits, but hopefully the state will pick this up from the county.

www.savekentisland.org/news-2007-Four-Seasons-after-vote.htmlAccording to the above story on KIDL website, KHOV's future here is unclear. Franchot says he thinks they will abandon the project (PLEASE) but they could scale it back or start legal challenges. Here's hoping they go away and take their lawyers with them (and maybe a couple of our GOBs).
