The M. Jackson death has been ruled a homicide. I'll bet my money on the Doctor at this time.

Wasn't murder. It was (indirect) suicide. Dude was a freak.
FWIW, he was the Man in the early '80's. All went down hill from there.

Unfortunately, Michael Jackson killed himself in the same manner Elvis killed himself. Living a life without guidelines or control leads to excess. It's hard to point the finger at the doctor (although a major contributor) because he could just be replaced by a doctor that would say "Yes Mr. Jackson, whatever you want". Money, status, and power is corrosive to even the best people out there.

The doctor may have over prescribed the drugs, but they weren't forced down his throat.

Well at least they finally buried him after 2 months. Not everyone is going to like the same type of music but it is pretty hard to deny the man had talent. He wrote many of his songs, unlike Elvis. It is a shame the doctor is getting blamed for this, there are many doctors from the past 20 years of his life who are to "blame". There are many doctors drugging ordinary citizens on a daily basis, you don't see them being hauled into court. If they are going to go after the doctors of celebrities, they should go after them all.
