I guess technically I'm origionally from Grasonville, though my family has been on KI for many generations, my mom, Pop-Pop, everyone from there...but I moved to KI when I was 16. My first REAL paying job woulda been KI Hardees....mmmm....grease! Anyone remember the "Rat-Busters"? I think I made $5.40/hr back then...couldn't imagine that now!!

Lived in Queenstown from birth to the age of 26, moved to Catonsville,MD been here for 5yrs, moving back to QA's as soon as I stop laughing at the asking prices ($300K for a house built on marshland.......hahahaha)
First job, K.I. Burger King $4.10hr, second was Queenstown Harbor Golf Links Cart Boy $4.10hr +tips, then Castle Harbor Marina Fuel Dock $6? hr +tips, then I made the mistake of getting into Home Construction (I worked on the Bayside project next to Castle Harbor). Now currently work at BWI for Southwest Airlines.
It's funny I read through this thread hoping to see some people I knew, but it seems most are not local....oh well, prob should look in Denton to find anyone I grew up with.....

I grew up in the midwest, IL & MO. First real job after high school was at the Coca Cola bottling plant in West Plains, MO. I was introduced to Kent Island when I was stationed at Andrews AFB in the late 1970's, when a guy named Bob Santmeyer, who's mother lived in Queen Anne's Colony at the time, brought me here for my first crab feast.
