B.C.P.D. Commissioner Ham just awarded a $55,000.00 a rear pension to Lt. Col. Marcus Brown....... To receive the pension you must have 20 years service, or be 50 years of age, or have medical problems that prevents you from performing police duties. Mr. Brown the newly appointed Toll Facilities Police Chief has none of these requirements. Our Governor hand picked Brown for the job months before before his retirement. Chief Brown 42, served 12 years, and has only 30 arrests to his credit. If Brown lives to be 70 it will cost the taxpayers $1,540,000.00. Many hard working dedicated injured Police Officers have been denied pensions.......Push 1 for English, and buckle your seat belts.

I think it stinks but it's probably not a crime. There's a loop-hole somewhere. It was all over WJZ yesterday. It really stinks but I'm sure Brown is loving life.

CRIME, the one's that pulled it off would like you to think it's a loophole.
It became a crime when false statements are made as to how, and when, the guy left his BC service.
We was NOT dismissed, layed off, fired, or in any way terminated in a way that would have qualified him for the full pension.
HAMM needs to go too.

Yes this is totally insane. I'm so glad this has gotten out into the public. Citizens have to start speaking up and saying "Hell No" to all this nonsense. This is part of the reason taxes are so high, those in charge give nice pensions and buyouts to their friends, family, and themselves. Citizens need to push to get both the lazy and free riders out of the government.

Just wonder how much of it Ham gets for awarding it to him? Sounds like a backroom decision to me.

The key word is that he was hand picked by the Governor. Buy the way, how's the new Sheriff's best detective doing on your case? Still waiting for those words of praise for the new Sheriff Pete!
