Rosendale Realty (Century 21) is a reputable shop. Maybe give them a call.
Good luck on the move. Stay in touch and let us know how you find the Island.

I see a train wreck in the near future.
Stevensville / Chester, Maryland in General are EXPENSIVE. No where near Lawton... look elsewhere on the Eastern Shore.

IF I were just now moving to this side I would look past Kent Island, and NOT listen to the real estate agents. Make some lowball offers on some of the places that have been on and off the market for a few years.
Some sellers are just too dumb to know when to sell.

I see a train wreck in the near future. Stevensville / Chester, Maryland in General are EXPENSIVE. No where near Lawton... look elsewhere on the Eastern Shore. I am so laughing here, basically there is nothing in the whole state of Maryland that is comparable to Lawton, OK (price wise)..... Getting ready for "the sticker price shock"....I have been here 3 years and it still "gets to me" the prices of some of the things around here....But oh well.....not like I am the only getting gouged. But you can get a better pop for your buck further from the water that's for sure. (notice I said pop...cause there aint no bang on the East Coast). But on the positive side, there are some areas that remind me of North East Oklahoma, and the humidity isn't nearly as bad as it is in Oklahoma. For the most part most Marlylanders are pretty decent folk, some are friendly, some aren't...but you can get that anywhere. Good luck on your move and search. As far as the rental market around here....I find it fairly reasonable for the area. Just know before hand that what ever you are paying for in Oklahoma for a place to live....that same property type here will probably be at least twice or more than what you are used to paying....(ie sticker shock)!!!!

A rental just got evicted in bay city, stevensville, across the street from the water (the chesapeake). looks like a decent place--never saw such a situation before; i believe a realtor actually owns the place--it was temporarily occupied by her son and family, but not recently. I'm afraid i can't give you any more info than that, but it is a nice neighborhood. i imagine you could find the realtor without too much trouble. the house is on bayside drive. good luck.
