We use to go to the Kentmorr a lot in the past, but stopped going mostly due to the distance for lunch or dinner. I guess that was a mistake on our part. We went to the Kentmorr on Saturday for lunch. It was the 3rd time for lunch we have been there so far this summer. They do a nice job. Crab dip great, comes with bread and crackers. Blackened tuna sandwich yummy. Nice cold beer. Sat up on the deck over the old pool.
Good prices, wait staff polite and efficient. The dock boys were busy moving boats in and out, I heard a lot of yes sir, no sir, go right in here sir. Obviously the owner (Tammy) is stressing what is important. Keep it up, it shows in the business.
The Kentmorr might move up to the top of the list for my destination spot on the weekend over the mess going on in the Narrows area businesses. Bands, cover charges, bikini contest, lousy service.....

My husband and I went here a few weeks ago for dinner and it was the best dining experience we had in a long time. The food was fabulous and fresh, the view and sunset incredible ( I love the huge windows!) , the drinks yummy and quite potent, and they gave us such a large homemade dessert to share.....We were not rushed at all...They even have their own blinking lighthouse...Even our waiter was very friendly and courteous...The manager was nice too and spent several minutes talking to us.. Its wonderful when you can custom order your meal in every way without it being a problem. We will definitely be back.
