It seems as if the 'mounts' I think they are called on my washer tub may be damaged or broken. When the tub spins it really wabbles alot. Not just if it is off balance. Does anyone know if this can be fixed & about what it would cost or is it time for a new machine? This 1 is only 6 yrs old? Thanks

There are two things you may want to check:
First, there are leveling legs on each corner of the machine. When the washer is empty try to rock it back and forth and side to side. If there is movement then you can get a wrench and shorten/lengthen the legs that need attention.
The second culprit could be as simple as an unbalanced load in the machine. As soon as you notice rocking in the spin cycle - stop the machine and see if one side has more wet laundry on one particular side - if so, balance it out and resume the spin cycle. An easy way to determine this is to run the machine with no clothes in it and see if you have the same problem.
If neither of these work it may be time to either call a repairman or start shopping.
Good Luck!

Yeah I have already done the leg balance. Its also not the balance. Well actually when the tub is emoty you can move it from side to side alot more than what I think it should be able to rock. Most of the time, regardless of load size, I have to rearrange the clothes after they spin & respin them them. The slightest uneven distribution causes it to not spin as fast or as even as it should to get all of the water out of the clothes.
I fear a new washer may be in the future.
