-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was told by my neighbor and also by someone at the Dog Park to go to Island Pet Spa, Well I am glad I did, Cindy Lou and Jim, the owners, were so nice and treated my dog, Susie, like the princess she is. They have day care for dogs and my Susie jumped right in. Her haircut was the best I had ever gotten, and I had already been to Bev's and across the bridge to Annapolis and Susie never looked this good. The best part is she was happy when I returned and not stressed like she has been before at other groomers. I highly recommend Island Pet Spa and will tell everyone about them.

We have been going to Cindy Lou for a year and a half and we love the way she is with our dog and no one gives her a better haircut. I'm glad people are talking about them they deserve the praise!

We had our 1yr old chessie and 7 year old westie stay with them during our wedding. They were great and even gave the westie a wash and cut for a wedding gift. I would not go anywhere else.

I have been going to them for over a year now and the last time I took my dog to them they told me that she had a possible ear infection. I had no clue. My vet, Chesapeake Vet, was impressed with their catching it. It's nice to know that not only will my dog get a great haircut, but that they will let me know when something might be wrong with her. We love them!

Island Pet Spa is wonderful. I have a poodle puppy who loves it there. I travel for my job, and I never worry about my puppy when I am away, because Cindy Lou and Jim take good care of her. My puppy is happy and well when I come to pick her up. Cindy Lou also alerted me that my puppy had an ear infection that my vet missed. I have used other groomers, and my puppy has never look as well as when I started taking her to Island Pet Spa for grooming. If you love your pet, I highly recommend you use Island Pet Spa.

Yes, it was $15 per night when my dog stayed with them. The best part was she got to do doggie daycare, playtime, during the day instead of being put in a cage all day.

I have an 11 year old toy poodle who hates just about everyone except me. Years ago, my vet referred me to Cindy Lou who was working Fridays and Saturdays in Annandale, VA. My Rocky loves Cindy Lou and my heart almost broke when Cindy Lou opened her own shop the other side of the Bay Bridge. I tried a different groomer in Virginia but Rocky was so upset when I picked him up that I decided to just let his hair grow. Six months (and way too much hair later), I asked my sister if she would be willing to go "over the Bay Bridge" with me to visit Cindy Lou at island Pet Spa. I must tell you that I have never driven over the Bay Bridge myself and I was nervous. Well, we made it and now make the trip every 3 months - sometimes with as many as 5 dogs and 4 people. I will now follow Cindy Lou anywhere. We all appreciate her so much. And her shop is wonderful. The dogs roam free and can make friends with each other. There is no hostility - everything is always under control. If you have not tried Island Pet Spa, you and your dog are missing out on a wonderful adventure.

I have been taking my Doberman's to Island Pet Spa since the first day Cindy Lou and Jim opened their door. My Ceasar who is 12 years old loves going to see Cindy Lou and Jim, plus he loves the staff. Ceasar goes in with tail waggie and looks for his best bud Oliver, Ceasar and Sophie go to day care twice a week and are given their baths every other week. As someone who is part owner in a grooming shop in Glen Burnie this is saying alot, that I would rather take my liitle four legged family members to Cindy Lou and Jim rather than driving across the bridge. I love the fact that Ceasar and Sophie are free to roam the shop, are well supervised and that they have people that show them tons of attention, hug's and love while they are there. Cindy Lou and Jim also introduced me to NUVet Plus and NuJOINT Plus which are supplements full of minerals, vitamins and Anit-Inflammatory herbs for Ceasar, since Cindy Lou and Jim told me about NUVEt and we started using it my Ceasar is not in the pain as much as before and Sophie who is a year old skin and fur has really improved within just two months. Ceasar has been on NUVet for over a year and I can tell you it is worth the additional cost. We are going on vacation and I plan to board both Sophie and Ceasar with Cindy Lou and Jim, I can go away and know that my babies are getting the best care and someone will be there to give them hugs, talk to them and the big plus is that they get to see their best buds all day long.
There is not another grooming shop on this side of the bridge or the other side that I would take my babies too, I am so pleased and happy with Cindy Lou, Jim, Nez and the other staff members at Island Pet Spa, that I hand out their business cards at the doggie play park, Safeway and any other place I happen to be. I love my babies and I know that Jim, Cindy Lou and Nez will take great care of them while they at the Islan Pet Spa. Give them a call, they are great people who have big, big, big hearts and will love your dog as much as you do. I trust them with my darlings.

Today was my first visit to Island Pet Spa, I decided to try them because of what I had read about them on this forum. I have a westie and most groomers do not know how to groom them properly. Cindy Lou groomed my dog today and did a great job. I will be back. I've got to say they lived up to all the praise I had read about. Everyone was friendly and my dog was happy. For me it doesn't get much better than that.
