Remember Mossmiller, the young cop who pulled over the young, under 18 girls in Pasadena? He threatened the driver with a DUI then asks what she'll do to avoid the charge. He gropes the girl and the clicks a picture with his cell phone. The dirtbag gets 6 days in the slammer and 30 days house arrest. Sounds like he got off easy.

Don't know exactly what you mean, Mike. Shouldn't he be on the 'sexual predator' list and all that?
The thing that burns the hell outta me is that my daughter works up there just around the corner from where this dude had his fun, in a church parking lot at the corner of Ft. Smallwood Rd and Duval... It could have easily been her since she doesn't drink and ends up being the designated driver when they all hang out...

Blue Mule......Remember that the cop did not give himself the light sentence. This case was handled by every big shot in the A.A.Co. Police Dept., the States Attorneys Office, and the Courts. Police Departments will protect their image at all cost. If you followed the case in New Orleans where the 65 yr. old retired school teacher was beaten by four cops, on video. Guess what happened? A Judge ruled the citizen caused the beating to happen......Corruption has caused every great nation to fall.

If he was found guilty he should first lose his job..and 2nd be put on the Sexual Preditor list as a Pedifile as the girls were under 18 and minors. Barb

I don't think I'd want to spend anytime in a jail in a County that I had worked as a police officer.
I don't agree that the police always take care of their own when it comes to corruption. I'm not saying things like that don't happen but are we saying that does not happen in other occupations too?
I think that if a police officer violates his oath, he should go, simple as that. If they lie about anything on the job, an arrest, paperwork, an injury, they should go.

(The N.O. cops beating up the teacher, etc.) Not sure what to make of it. If I remember correctly, though, the old guy didn't do anything to help his own situation. Anyway, the old guy they beat up is still in an institution with his brains scrambled. Recently, one of the cops shot himself in the mouth too. That's a bad thing too. What a G.D. mess, everywhere...

I can understand your displeasure in this case but how do you figure a registered sexual predator. The law does not work like that buddy. Let me break it down for you. The officer assaulted the female motorist by unlawfully touching her breast. It's a plain old fashion Assault II degree. Touching a females chest is no more a sexual act than smacking a female on the back side. Grabbing a females chest does not constitute a sexual offense or perverted sexual practice in the state of Maryland, only a second degree assault. Thats the law whether you agree with it or not. In order for it to be a sexual offense the male officer would have had to grabbed the females genitalia, make penetration and proved it was for sexual pleasure, which was not the case and did not touch. This officer is a sheer disgrace to the law enforcement profession and should of served more than 6 days in jail.

Bluemule? That's GBM's wit in pratice. Mike is just trying to put a little "light" humour, in a serious matter. I do think his punishment is extremely light. And to deputy, who still doesn't want to become a member due to his shy nature, though the cop's actions may be interpreted as sexual assault, isn't the touching, swatting, or groping a woman's backside, pretty much a sign, of what a potential sexual predator will do? Meaning, if they think they can get away with a grope, how far behind is attempted rape?

Hopefully Mosmiller will spend his time with some depraved, smelly inmates. A lot can happen in 6 days. Deliverance.

There is NO occupation that one can say that every single employee is perfect. It's unfortunate but true and everyone knows it. The last time I checked, the last perfect person was born around 2007 years ago.

I'm imagining Mossmiller (or "Mossie" as his new prison buddies have nicknamed him) in the prison yard, wearing a tutu, dancing the hokey pokey to banjo music. The inmates clap along, calling out, "Put your right _________ in and shake it all about."
Justice makes me happy.
