Hi,
This is our first visit to the Chesapeake Bay area. Can anyone suggest were to get Maryland blue crab. Does it make a difference like crab cakes or are all the restaurants about the same on steamed crabs.
Thanks!
Mary Ann

Around here - you can get them at The Crab Deck, Harris Crab House, lots of places.
Just google Baltimore seafood or Baltimore restaurant crabs and I'm sure you'll find tons of restaurants in the area. Also, if you've never had them before, have the waitress show you how to pick one. It'll save you a lot of time and frustration.
Enjoy!!

Mary Ann......The best tasting steamed crabs come from the Crab Shack, Pier One & Rt.8, 410-604-CRAB. The Kent Narrows area has several places for steamed crabs that are O.K., but the Crab Shack has the best.

Doesn't anyone else know that crabs "run" heavy, and light, depending an where they are in the cycle, NOT depending on where you BUY them?
