By a Hispanic (Presumed illegal) who stole a vehicle from Royal Farm in Queen Anne. Docs Market. Happened right in Centreville at Water St.
Contrary to what WJZ is reporting, the vehicle was not involved in a chance.

According to WBAL and WJZ the car was stolen in Chestertown. State Police took the report as a stolen car. Centreville town police saw the car driving recklessly and took pursuit. Apparently as the vehicle entered the intersection of Water and Liberty Street, Mr. Andrews. the vice principle was crossing Liberty from Water Street and was broadsided by the stolen car. What a terrible blow to this county. Mr Andrews was the Vice Principle when I went to Queen Anne as well as my children. Not a nicer person one could find. A sad day for all

Horrible,
I saw JZ, FOX 45 & BAL, but no names, or mentions of illegal, or hispanic.
I would hate for someone in the familiy to find out about it HERE.

What an awful way to start the school year for everyone. So sad.
I don't understand why the news story says the person was driving a stolen car and then goes on to say it was unclear why they were chasing him. Don't they usually chase stolen cars? Even a serious article like this isn't proofread.

From what I am hearing now, when the guy entered Centreville, he noticed the town police car and hauled butt which really got the attention of the town officer. I don't think the officer had a lot of time to actually pursue him. The guy just took off as fast as he could after he saw the town officer.

I did not know the principal personally, but those who did all say he was a good man. In my prayers this good man will be mentioned, and I'll pray that the murderer receives justice here on earth. God bless this good American.

When is it going to finally be enough? I don't understand why the laws on the books aren't being enforced and illegals aren't being deported. There shouldn't be basic services written and broadcasted in Spanish and business owners need to be inspected and fined for hiring illegals with no exceptions. It's gotten so bad that if you go to Terrapin Park beach there are literally dozens of illegals fishing and burning fires at that beach every day and even though they are illegal aliens breaking the law, they aren't being checked. Has anyone been there and seen the garbage being left there? It's these people that are doing it. The current federal lawmakers tried recently to pass an amnesty bill to give these people a free pass while everyone else waits on line. Luckily the bill was shot down, but they are still trying to revive it. We really need to collectively give a big F-U- to the bleeding hearts and the Bushies (odd that they are together on this issue) and vote accordingly to enforce the laws that are already there and get rid of these lawbreaking people. Also, why are there Spanish TV and radio stations and Spanish newspapers? The law states that broadcasters (TV and Radio) have to serve the needs of the public. By broadcasting in Spanish, Univision and whatever 99.1 is are doing the exact opposite. They are allowing people to not assimilate. We speak English here. Learn it! It seems that the new way for illegals to try and stay here is to have children here once they get here, making the kids US citizens. The take is that it's horrible to break up a family, but what's horrible is raising a family on values that include breaking our laws. It might take a generation, but if we boot the illegals and place their kids in state/foster care, it will finally stop that practice. Lets be real, they aren't any better off with poor lawbreaking natural parents. Ramble over. Sorry, but this death really got to me.

My prayers to all. That is quite sad. But, knowing that area, after my several dozen visits, to good old Courthouse, I'm hoping that State Trooper didn't pursue him down that one way road? Isn't that an extremely dangerous pursuit, in those conditions?

Apparently the State Police were not involved. The guy saw the Town Police officers and fled, blew the light and hit Mr Andrews.

A Daniel Jay Savage born in '83 comes up in the MD case search as having been arrested twice for drugs, once here and once in Baltimore. His ethnicity is listed as Pacific Islander rather than Hispanic.
Probably a whacked-out drug addict. What a shame for Mr. Andrews.

This man might not be an illegal. What does it matter? This happens all the time with illegals. One time is enought if you ask me. I love Bush but what is he thinking. Thanks to talk radio (Rush, Hannity and others) this awful bill got shot down. Those who don't know the issues really need to start listening to talk radio. I don't care if you're dem or repub. This great country is in trouble if we don't do something about the illegals. I am so tired of hearing about how hard they work. What a sad story this accident was.

I'm wondering if this was the same Daniel Savage that was arrested previously in MD, but in any event I agree that enough is enough with illegals.

Even us Repubs don't like Bush. Hands down the worst excuse for a "leader" in my lifetime, which sucks because I voted for him. Nobody coming down the 'pike is looking any good either. It's looking like a do nothing Dem, or a think nothing Repub. Ugh!
