Just want to give a shout-out to SAS Shoes in Annapolis. I have serious foot issues from having arthritis for so long and have NEVER owned a pair of shoes that truly fit my feet and prescription orthotics. The salesman there today worked with me for about an hour until I was able to finally purchase a pair of shoes for the first time in my life that actually FIT my feet and are comfortable.
The shoes were expensive, but walking without foot pain is priceless.

Thanks for the recommendation, mj, but I'll be sticking with SAS. Plantar fascilitis is the least of my foot concerns; there's pretty much no part of my feet that aren't deformed (arches are falling, toe knuckles have dropped down towards the ground, toes curl up, ankles swell... etc.). Now that I know there's a shoe I can wear, I'll stick to it.
