just going for one day--saturday--to see king tut--my sweetie--before he leaves town. i haven't been to philly since i was--well, never mind. don't need to see the liberty bell, etc. plan to have a cheesesteak. does anyone know anything we can do that does not take too much time but would be cool to do between lunch and museum (museum entry is at 3pm). thanks!

The Ben Franklin museum is very cool - you see the remains of his original home then you go down into a museum of sorts. They show all the inventions and projects he was involved in - amazing! He was ahead of his time. Have Fun!

hi speeder!--when i was living overseas, i wanted to go to egypt to see him and everyone else, but they restricted travel at that time. then when he was on tour ere, i think i was still there. my husband promised we'd go to this exhibit, so we are making it just before it ends this month. i am SO excited! i'm a real ancient egypt freak!
btb--thanks! i'll check it out and see if we can go there. sounds good!
