You CAN'T PAY CASH at the gate on the way out... You have to have some payment card of theirs.... we lifted the arm and went out. There were no gates down when we went in, and saw no signs saying no cash when we went in...... All the gates were down when we left. Wouldn't it be easier to make it take EZ PASS? instead of coming up with a whole new payment method..... ??

except that would mean you would have to carry your ez pass with you on the metro. They are talking about the Smart Card... That most DC Busses and the metro use. Eliminates the need for parking attendents.

"smart card" aptly named..... I was with him on this and it was pretty ignorant in my opinion. Not everyone rides metro daily or even weekly, we used it for an event and had done it before, every other time we did it the lot was open and free. so much for that.

which garage? New Carrolton? That's the only one I have experience with... There are two garages. One for cash and the other for smart card only. Yet neither garage is marked well...

Wasn't a garage, it's a lot over near UMD College Park., had MTA, & UMD busses, it was next to a train stop too.
