I hope everyone made out ok over the weekend and stayed safe. Crab Feast Update: As most of you probably already know, ARF’s Crab Feast had to be rescheduled and it is now scheduled for Sunday, September 11th. I know it is a huge Ravens football game this day but that is ok because our Crab Feast is also going to be a FOOTBALL PARTY! There will be a large screen TV on the patio televising the Raven’s and Pittsburgh game so not only can you eat crabs you can watch football and cheer for your favorite team! Dress as your favorite NFL team as there will be a prize for the best costume and not only that there will be a FOOTBALL BLOCK POOL! NOTE: Anyone that was planning to come to ARF’s Crab Feast on Sunday, August 28th and prepaid for their ticket and cannot attend on Sunday, September 11th please contact ARF if you would like a refund. Unfortunately Sparks and Raymond cannot play music at our event due to the date change but Steve McCoy of the group has agreed to come and play for us. So it all comes down to either watching football on the patio or listening to great music under the pavilion while eating crabs. Or you can even do both! We hope to see everyone there! -Susan Attachments:

What's Up just shared on facebook about our crab feast and here are the details, we hope to have a great day with crabs, football and of course pets Just posted from What's Up Magazine : Were you looking forward to the Animal Resource Foundation's Crab Feast? I bet you were bummed out when they had to cancel because of Irene. But, don't worry! They've rescheduled the crab feast for this Sunday from 1-4 p.m at the Kent Island Yacht Club in Chester. This time around, ARF has embraced the start of NFL Season. And it's sure to be fun. They're going to have a large screen TV televising the Ravens/Steelers game--seriously cool--a contest for the "Best Dressed NFL Player," a football block pool, and a lot more. On top of all the football frivolity, attendees will get to enjoy live music by Steve McCoy, and delicious food. The menu includes pulled pork and salads provided by the Kent Island Yacht Club, beer, soda, desserts, and, of course, crabs and corn on the cob from J.R. Thomas Seafood.
