We are considering moving to Bayside or Queen's Landing. We have looked at both and wonder what the pros and cons are of each. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I used to live in Queen's Landing. The pro's are that everything is taken care of for you (Trash removal, snow removal, sewer, etc). The pool is nice and the weight room is good too. The walk path is nice, and the view is great. In Hurricane Isabel QL was high enough that everything was ok - A huge plus.
The cons - The condo fee is very high - Mine was $220 a month 3 years ago, and it's probably higher now. The walls in the DiDonato built units (the newest ones) are paper-thin, and it's not very kid friendly in there. Notice the "No skateboarding / No Rollerblading" signs everywhere. It's good for retirees and people that are a bit older, although there are younger people in there. The board that runs the place is definately all older people that don't like the younger people with kids though.
I don't know much about Bayside other than that there are townhouses and condos in there. It looks like a nice area and I remember wishing that I had bought in there instead of QL when I did. I hope this helps you.

PaulI lived in QL and now I own a home in Narrows Pointe through it is just a weekend property. QL is nice for the money but the construction is fair. If you can handle it look at the Narrows.

I would recomend Oyster Cove over Bayside or QL. We bought a year ago after an exhaustive search of all communities and found OC to be nicer, cleaner and offer the best water views and access, especially for boaters. Narrows pointe is nice too but soooo expensive.
