This self-important moron was at Food Lion Sunday. If you are so scared that someone might ding your car park at the far end of the lot. Attachments:

You think that one is bad? My hubby recently took a photo of a mercedes benz with no handicapped tag or over-the-mirror hanger taking up 2 handicapped spaces. Come on folks! One vehicle, one space. And if you park in the handicapped space when you are not, well, you better hope karma catch you!

What no slanty "3" sticker or bear balls on that F150?

Really??? Doesn't even look like a space next to that overflowing cart-barn. And you say nothing about the red truck who didn't even bother to find a space or the van parked well into the handicap space. I think you're just over sensitive, that lot isn't even full.

Who's a little sensitive here? You don't happen to drive an F150 do you? ;D

I'm thinking no biggee on this one, Sunday, Look at the rest of the lot- PLENTY of spaces.... Not like it's Black Friday at the mall or something.....
No, not me, not my Ford......

Agreed. The spot to his left isn't very useful, and the lot has plenty of spaces.
If I did this exact thing, I'd return from my shopping to find the lot filled up while I was inside.

No, I don't drive a Ford, but I do drive a long truck and allways try to park away from every one(yes my hitch ball stays in the receiver) and I think your are way of line in posting this guys(gals) plate. You're really not concerned with the guy who is in fire line?

Yeah this one is pushing it. If the driver considered the spot to left not really being one then technically he's within the parking spot. And I agree the plate should not have been shown in the pic.

I don't know. I think I gotta agree with Inspector.
The van parked on the line is still in his spot. You can't see what is on the other side of him.
The red truck looking/getting a Christmas tree? Not a problem with me.
The Ford blatantly taking two spaces on the closer side to the store - A$$hole! For the driver that feels his vehicle is worth more than my house and needs to use two spaces, use the far end of the lot and walk in rather than having others walk because you're too important.

Frank I agree with you most times on here, but that is a difficult spot for a full size truck. The spot to the left does not have that much room and I normally park next to cart returns just so I don't have to walk that far to return a cart when I am ready to go. Also, lazy people will push a cart into these returns, miss, and just leave it there against the return or on the side of the cart return.
Also, if any drive a full size truck and come in from the truck's left, it's hard to cut it close enough to stay square in a small space especially if there is a vehicle or structure in the space next to you so you tend to swing wide. Maybe that is why this guy or gal did and thought they were square but it's not until after you turn off the truck, grab your stuff, lock it up, jump out, then realize, "Oh sh&t!". Then you look around, see plenty and plenty of other spaces open, so no harm no foul and no law broken. Now if you parked in a fire lane or handicap space, then there is a foul and a precious revenue source for local law enforcement agencies

freefallin, I know what you're sayin. I never park my car next to the cart rack because of the careless people with their carts, although I'll park the bike there. Too many times I see carts up against vehicles in that spot. It aggravates me when I find the only open parking spot is partially blocked by someone parking on the white line which makes getting in and out of the car tough. I see the truck above as someone who just doesn't give a sh!t about others.

While there seems to be plenty of space to park here, I agree with the principle of the thread here. There's really no excuse for parking that horribly. A little over the line I can understand with a big truck like that, but there's no way you can park halfway in 2 spaces and not realize it, and then the driver was inconsiderate or just plain lazy to correct the error by less than 10 seconds of reverse and forward. If you're going to park this way on purpose, don't give every other potential park-ers in that space the middle finger during your time there and pick a space at the far end of the lot.
As bad as this is, I've seen worse~ Old p.o.s. clunker's parked in 3+ spaces right in the front of the lot, and people idling at a gas station pump just to run inside rather than take a space not even 10 yards away. The driver in that instance has no mobility issues apparent normally.
Courtesy, people. Learn it!

I had a moron at the WAWA on Veterans Hwy this week, black dude with brided hair past his shoulders, parked his Mercury Grand Marquis crossways across 3 handicapped spots... Nice job Bonehead.

I really don't like the way you posted my pickup on this forum! The space next to the shopping carts is partially being used by the shopping cart rack! I really didn't think it was a big deal! Move on!

By the way, I'm with the truck driver. The space next to the shopping cart corral is unusable. If you park fully in the space you can't get out the door of your full sized vehicle.. Still looking for a suitable set of balls...

could be he had to park like because that was the only space left when he arrived and everyone else parked wrong on their rush to food lion to clean them out of water, tp and bread and milk because their might be a hint of something in the next month or so and people gotta stack up..but this guy got their late hence why the truck is still there cause he is trying to stock up with whatever is left after the mad rush before him..... more to the story than what the eye see's some times!

Bluecrabber..please don't do that. Whenever I see those things hanging from trucks, it totally disgusts me! Like whoever thought of something like that! It's GROSS! At Acme a few months ago, I saw this poor guy trying to squeeze into his car because in order to park in the spot, there is only about 6" between the corall and your car door. I thought...what an idiot. About 2 weeks ago, I did the exact same thing. I realized it after I parked but I too ended up squeezing in and out. Felt pretty stupid but won't do it again.

A truck, a minivan, and a car, at or ON the gravel between Food Lion and the liquor store...... With plenty of close parking spaces in the lot. I guess some people are just better than others....
and no, they weren't quickies
they were there when I went in to food liion, and still there when I came out.

Parking is allowed it the area you described.
The areas with painted red curbs and no parking signage are areas parking is not allowed.
