Has anyone else had a problem with discolored water in Cloverfields? It looks dirty about 2-3 times per month.
Also, all of my family's white clothes are slowly being ruined by the water. Each time I wash, they come out a little grungier and have gray splotches on them. Even with bleach!
Is this a common problem on KI?

You're on county water, sometimes when they flush the lines the water will get cloudy and then clear up. but that's not as often as you say you get it.
You should report it to the county, they'll have better answers.

I've noticed that my water has a funky smell to it too jhere in Bay City. My shower heads have lso gotten cruddy - that pinkinsh color - in the last week. I hope that it's just temporary.

We still have the problem... I just don't buy many white clothes anymore - they all end up as cleaning rags. The only thing that has helped at all is that Yellow Out stuff. But that doesn't help much with the gray splotches. Guess it's just another "quirk" of Eastern Shore living. I still wouldn't trade it

The problem is the same when we flush our lines or any sanitary district flushes their mains. We recommend RIT. They carry products that should take care of your problem. www.ritdye.com/laundry.asp#treat HTH. Paul EDIT: homie can't spell ;D
