Hey all!! Tonight is the BUCS 2nd home game! Sorry I didn't post about the 1st one... completely spaced.

Nobody is talking much about it, but the clock is ticking.. two more weeks and the Bucs and Lions go at it.. as of last week, both teams are 8-0.. Another knock down, drag out brawl this year at Kent Island.. GO LIONS!!  |

The Bucs and the Lions are now both at 9-0!! The rumble on the Island is set!!
For those who do not know, Queen Annes county has a great High School football program. Both county teams are top notch. This is good football!!
Plan on going to Kent Island High School on Friday night for a really good football game. You will enjoy it!

i totally agree bluecrabber!!! if you can make it out - come out & watch Friday nights game!! It's always a good game between the two schools!!
Both are undefeated & this is going to be a great one!!!! Game time 7pm Friday night at KIHS!!!!

Let me explain...1st son...part of the Original BUCs football team...I screamed for the BUCS for many years...lol..(that son is now 28).....2nd son...he is 13...plays for lions on Rec League...and will play for QACHS Lions. I need a jersey cut in 1/2...lol

Yeaaahhhh BUCS won.. we got cheated!! Just kidding.. they deserved to win. Congrats to the BUCS for a great season. Keep going all the way!! But, those who attended the game know the game was closer than the score.. Let's not forget QA had four turnovers that were very costly. But two outstanding High School football teams.. All of Queen Annes county should be proud of our school systems and the sports programs. |

We were talking after the game - had there not been those 2 interceptions that game would have gone into OT... We were convinced of that! Both teams played hard & both teams made some mistakes - some more costly than others!
You're right Bluecrabber - it's time to be proud of what QAC has put out in our sports teams!!! Now it's time to get behind our teams!!!
Proud BUCS fan and thrilled that they won!!! My voice still isn't back to 100% :-)

The REMATCH is November 16..at QACHS...should be another great game..with hopefully a different outcome...LOL But as I said above...I can't lose as I scream for both teams...lol

The rematch happens if both KI and QA win this Friday. KI plays WiHi, and QA plays Elkton.
If rematch does occur, it'll be at KI again. We are the top seed.

All right BUCS Fans!!! Tonight is the night the BUCS take the first step on the road to M&T Stadium!
Game time is 7pm! Bring your cow bells, milk jugs or noise makers!!!! Let's make some NOISE tonight!!!!
Also there will be tubs at the gates for school supply donations for those that have been affected by Sandy up in NJ/NY. The KIHS SGA is sending backpacks full of supplies, so let's fill those tubs up!!!!

Yes, QA did get whacked by Elkton.. but once again the game was closer.. many QA mistakes. But, don't take anything away from Elkton.. they have a lot of talent! Really good football team with a couple of outstanding athletes.. and BIG! I will be there rooting for the Bucs.. and so will some of the QA players and fans. It is a Queen Annes county thing.. |
