Man, what a dump! I go in today and the whole baby section was completely torn apart. Half of the items were sold out and what was there, was messy, dirty, and disorganized. One item that I did buy - I get it home and open it - it's got a stain on it. Obviously, a return that nobody bothered to check. I've already switched to Walgreens for prescriptions - and as soon as another "got it all" store opens on KI, I'll never set foot in there again. From the racks of clothes out on the sidewalk, to the tons of dried up, dying plants outside, to the dirty floors and dusty merchandise inside. Complete disorganization, stocking issues. BLECH! Kent Island deserves better.  |

I don't even bother going in there anymore. They have millions of things, but never The Thing that I am in need of/looking for. And if they do have it, it's the cheapest version for twice the amount.
Honestly, I don't know how they are SO bad? Who the heck is their shopper? Why can't they get it together like Target does? I walk into a Target, and I find what I am looking for plus a million other things that I feel like I might "need" (they are TOO good). But I walk into KMart, and 80% of the time I end up leaving empty handed.
I mean, is the "got it all" store model so hard to make successful? Don't even get me started on KMarts Kids Carts (I have two 3 year olds-- I can't shop unless they are contained!).
But sadly, it looks as though we are stuck with them indefinitely... unless everyone boycotts (which I already have).
At least we have Tuesday Morning!! and the hardware stores...

I think I heard they are under new management. My husband has been getting his prescriptions filled there for years, it's the closest pharmacy to our house so he goes there out of convenience. He actually went yesterday to pick up a prescription and after standing in line for nearly 20 minutes in addition to having issues with the prescriptions he was getting filled, he left so disgusted he decided to change his pharmacy. He said he has not seen the normal pharmacists in quite some time (they actually knew him so well they wouldn't even ask his name). Furthermore a prescription he hasn't had in over a year was filled and he found out they screwed up another prescription. I have noticed it has gone down hill as well. I have generally good luck finding what I need but recently it seems the place is just a mess and the people that work there look absolutely miserable to be there. I hope they can get it together soon!

They messed up my wife's perscription two or three weeks ago. Luckily she caught it when the price was a over a hundred dollars more then she anticipated. Wish we could get rid of Kmart and get a Target.

I changed my prescriptions to cvs a long time ago. After they were filling a narcotic under my husbands name. They made me look like some kind of junkie and humiliated me in front of other customers. But by the time I was done and left that night they were saying they were very sorry. And police reportrs were also filed. My insurance was billed and it was not us getting the medications.

Last time I was there they gave me a $5 gift card for my next visit. Pretty bad when I don't want to stop in there and spend free money. Target or Walmart would be better.

I used to Mystery Shop there. I quit because it only paid $15 and took me 2 hours to fill out the report. I did it on and off for over 6 months and the reports never changed... sad.

Kmart is a waste of time and space....hate shopping there and wish we had a Target or Wal-Mart....at least you can find what you need!!!
