And I just read where the last mile was dedicated to the Newtown Families...and they were sitting at the finish line...

You always hear about people dying at these marathons. They are dangerous and need to be outlawed. How can the administration allow these to continue? Why doesn't congress act? Even with police posted throughout the course, idiots with bombs are allowed to get within feet of the course.

As sad and tragic an event as this was, the fact that the only way we are ever "safe" from cowardly madmen (or women to be "p c") is if we live our lives in a tightly controlled, guarded and confined environment....then those jackasses win.

I don't even run marathons, but I tell you what I wish I could do...I would personally re-run the thing as soon as possible. I will buy me some bright orange shoes and neon yellow shirt and shorts...and, if they would let me....run right down the middle of the street.
