^ and this is why the GOP is going to lose again next election, despite how bad things are.
Keep harping on abortion and the definition of marriage.
The right wing is the only section of voters worried about those two issues right now, and the wing isn't big enough to win on its own.

HOWEVER...those who really should stop harping about these issues should not lose their minds (change their views to suit the masses) or forget the issues supported by many of the growing silent... I personally do NOT agree that a 15 year old should be able to purchase a morning-after pill. At that age, you can not drive, vote, purchase cigarettes or alcohol...Make it 21 and put it behind the counter and my head will stop shaking a little. If I could walk into a drug store at the age of 3 x 15 +, and buy a bottle of Premarin without a prescription...my head would stop shaking completely.

Obama wants to take our guns away so he can protect the CHILDREN. If he can save ONE child's life by passing gun control he has done his job? I say Bull$#!t. This man is a walking talking hypocrite! Planned Parenthood/ infanticide, morning after pill, can't seem to have enough ways to end the life of a innocent baby but if he can save one child's life.................Actions speak louder than words. So does barry want to save the innocent or does he want to protect the innocent? “We will not resuscitate” – Another abortion provider promising infanticide if baby born alive Yet another abortion provider, this time in Arizona, promising to just let the baby die if it comes out whole and alive. But they say most of the time it just comes out in pieces as it’s being suctioned from the womb. Ugh. Just so horrible. Watch www.therightscoop.com/we-will-not-resuscitate-another-abortion-provider-promising-infanticide-if-baby-born-alive/

It is extremely important to not confuse the morning after pill with anything having to do with abortion. Abortion has to do with the removal of an embryo or a fetus. The morning after pill is supposed to prevent ovulation and fertilization, without which a zygote, embryo, or fetus cannot be formed in the first place.
Using the morning after pill does not end a life, it removes the potential for a life to be created in the first place, much like an oral contraceptive or IUD.

I didn't miss the point, DS. You missed mine.
In order to point out Obama's inconsistencies, which are VERY PLAIN, you must take the stance of defending things or opposing things that are consistently losing the Republican Party votes with people other than white Christian males.

Talk about a raciest comment! I believe if the Conservatives stick to their core values we can win any election! When you try to placate everyone on a issue you just lose direction. Take a stand, maintain a course and follow thru! Stand for what is right or sit down and shut up.

deep sea, as much as I value your opinion I have to stand with Rob. I for one understand both sides of the problem. 1. A fifteen year old should be under the direct supervision of their parents 2. A lot of parents dont give a crap what happens to their children. So what is the best answer? let them have the pill or support another fatherless child through the system. That question has the republican party baffled. Is it worth the fight? George

As long as the Republicans keep trying to force their religious beliefs on the rest of us, they will continue to be viewed as an out of touch party. This country is slowly but surely moving away from religion, or at least learning to keep it in check. The right still follows it blindly, facts aside. It's funny that they keep harping on the Muslims for blindly following their dopey religion, when they are doing the same thing. Luckily Christians, while equally delusional, aren't as violent.

This should be something that the GOP is for. Allowing someone to take something is not the same as forcing. This decision would allow you or your daughter to make your own decisions.
Legislating that you cannot be allowed to have this pill is more government intrusion.
