Wondering if anyone has experience with the small AC units that are built into the wall to cool small areas - and I think they may also heat but not sure. Do they work well and are they efficient? And any recommendations for company to call for estimate. Looking to cool an area that is warm even with central air on. Have the crank out windows so can't use the old window type unit. Thanks for any advice!

I have no experience with one personally, but I did some research a few years ago for a garage that I was going to build (someday I will be able to afford it). The Mitsubishi Mr. Slim seemed to be highly reviewed. Since then I have seen them used in even commercial applications. www.mehvac.com/ YMMV

Their are many different brands that are for sale. We use Sanyo and have been very happy with the equipment. It may also just be a duct work issue that could be fixed with out having to add another unit. Feel free to give us a call and we can come out and take a look at it for you to see what the best option may be for you.

Chris Damron sells Mitsubishi models. They have heat and air or air only. I have two and they are great. I also have a Sanyo that is pushing 18 years old with only minor problems. Give Chris a call-301-440-2221
