HELP!! Kent Island High School Student is seeking a sponsor for her equestrian riding. This student's family has encounterd financial hardship and can no longer provide funding for this sport. The student is a very dedicated young girl, who has worked hard towards achieving her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Part of that process is great academic achievement, volunteer work, and outside curricular activity. She does all of these things and has accomplished a great deal, despite some very difficult challenges. Without her continued participation in equestrian sports, combined with her academic achievement, her chances of scholarship awards and acceptance into a pre-vet school is drastically limited, if not an impossibility now.
If there are any businesses that are interested in helping a young girl achieve her dreams, please contact us. Thank you!!

Join the 4-H club in Centerville, they will hook you up with MANY free oppertunities
Some trainers will trade Barn work for lessons. I know of two gals doing that NOW! working at the barn WILL give you tons of knowledge.
good luck

She has been a member of the 4-H Club in Queenstown for the past two years. Her barn nor her trainor will not offer lessons in exchange for work and we have reached out to the area barns asking for work. Her horse lease requires horse lessons from her trainor. Centreville is a haul for us as well. She knows her way around the barn, and helps care for the horses just to help. Thank you though!
