Does anyone know of any place to get sushi around here? I hate having to go all the way to Annapolis and further to get it.

Supposedly the "Yin-Yankee Cafe'" in Annapolis is opening up a sushi place where "Gravity" was - behind "Club-1" on Rte. 50. Not sure when it will be open though. The new Safeway will also have a sushi bar in it, and The Narrows does sushi on Tuesday or Wednesday nights I think. It's hard to beet Joss' and Nano in Annapolis though.

Sorry Yin Yankee has been cancelled. I know the owner. From what I was told he wanted to expand an could not deal with the landlord so cancelled everything.

I haven't been there, but I've been told that General Tanuki's in Easton is worth trying.
Joss' in Annapolis could be the best around and is just about as far away as Easton anyway.

Those people running in the old outlets near the Narrows deserve some kudos for dealing with the people who own it... dealing with those landlords is like dealing witha 2 year old. They just don't give a darn about doing business there. Overpriced space with absolutely no guarantees about timelines for redevelopment. "You bought it for too much $$, you pay to fix it, and we'll just kick you out when we want to..."

I agree, we have stated here before that landlords around here are not interested at all in seeing their merchants do well, only that you pay their overpriced rates and operate at their convenience. BUT I will say to their defense there have been quite a few businesses in the last 10 years that have signed leases, started and stopped within a short period of time. This turn over hurts any landlord. Is there a catch 22 here? I dunno :::shrug:::.
