Mediocre rockfish, poor drink selection.......very sad....you would think someone would care to attract a better class of people. Those who do are usually disappointed. Gave them many tries, still poor.

I really like the Shrimp and Grits there. A little rich, but can be tempered by eating less. As for the class of people they attract, huh? YOU went there..... How should we take that?

Surprising review. I've never had anything bad at Bridges. Good food, good service, great views, and really nice people. Also, thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits.

I've always enjoyed the food at Bridges; however, the past two times I've been (this year), they have been understaffed and the service has been horrible.

You know, all this criticism about restaurants is probably going to cause this Forum problems with advertisers. Either that, or threads are going to start magically disappearing. Here's a website that users here might enjoy--www.yelp.com. Food critics of the world unite.

We had a problem about 5 months ago, we spoke with the GM and since then everything has been perfect. He could not have been more apologetic . The Shrimp and Grits , excellent. The Salmon again excellent. If you have a problem talk to him he will make it good. There was a time I would not have gone back but now it's one of my favorite locations beside " Big Owls". Now if you need to Censored Bad Word Here, Hemingway's.

If they served a better variety and top shelf booze, they would have those who prefer those brands show up.....their rail and top shelf are pretty much cheap brands, not one quality whiskey or bourbon. That doesn't equate to attracting us classy folk. No more. Enjoy their mediocrity. Ever been to a quality bar/restaurant? You would know the difference if u did.

Great prices and they have plenty of staff! KI Transplant... I did the original post on the review that was removed! I use Yelp too, and I posted it there !! Must be who you know............

As I recall the post in question had degraded into big pissing match. I'm not surprised it got the old heave ho.

As I recall the post in question had degraded into big pissing match. I'm not surprised it got the old heave ho. My recollection is that one of the commenters made a comment about a foreign object being in their food, and that the post got pulled shortly thereafter. Probably makes it tough to keep advertisers, so maybe it needed to be pulled.
