I was catching up with a friend the other night from another part of the country and he asked me to describe what Maryland people are like, and I didn't have much of an answer. I've been in the state for a while, but not a lifelong resident. Since the state is pretty diverse, both in landscape and people, I never really thought too much about whether there are certain characteristics/traits that are prevalent throughout the state. So what do people here think?

Prevalent throughout the state? That is an interesting and difficult question. I can think of differences as you move throughout the state but I can't think of any similarities.

47% would move from Maryland. Probably because they have no say in state government.
