I just hope that he can undue some of the damage that O'Malley did and he focuses on real (money) issues and not social issues like the current batch of politicians seem to do. We can focus on gays, gun control, weed, abortions, and all of that stuff after the important things are attended to. Hopefully. I think that social issues are pushed to keep our minds off of the real problems. Let them smoke pot, marry lamp posts, shoot eachother, and abort their critters for now. Who gives a crap.

Frank...no offense but your characterization is a little over the top, don't you think. It's not like he repealed regulations that were already in effect. He stopped new ones from being implemented. This has been a big issue with the farm community who has been asking for input on the language of the regulations before implementation. Ask some of our local farmers about the issue and they'll explain why it was important to halt the new regulations and allow for the time needed to get it right. Oh...and his first act was actually this: baltimore.cbslocal.com/2015/01/21/larry-hogans-first-executive-order-january-21-2014/

Thank you Larry Hogan for pulling a rule that was too expensive, based on incomplete and inaccurate science, had no measurable benefits, put farmers and farming at risk and endangered an industry that this peninsula and state is dependent on for tens of thousands of jobs.

A Member recently asked where everyone was... I for one, still check the forum every few days. I used to participate regularly and enjoyed the input, information and feedback I received - and the back and forth between others too. It's comments like the one above - and SO MANY OTHERS that finally caused me to stop participating, almost completely! I wish it could be like it used to be on the KIO Forum - so many really interesting people (many of them I met over the years,) seem to have disappeared from posting, like me. Look at the quote above and tell me what possible response a rational person could make??

This guy even takes it to personal levels with his private message attacks. He's the true definition of a troll

Can't agree more, well said The MD GOP finally figured out what really matters to voters - taxes, spending, and the economy. If they stick this this maybe finally this can turn into a two party state once again
