In spite of the dangers of allowing terrorist into the country obama aka barry soetoro said “When I hear folks say that, well, maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims, when I hear political leaders suggesting that there would be a religious test for which person who’s fleeing from a war-torn country is admitted, when some of those folks themselves come from families who benefited from protection when they were fleeing political persecution, that’s shameful,” the President added Well the main job of the president is to protect the American People. All of the attackers identified so far were European nationals. NONE were Syrians. Now of course logic is a difficult concept for fearful conservatives, but if these Syrians loved ISIS so much, they wouldn't be refugees.
By turning away the refugees you're playing right into ISIS' game plan. Now they can point and say that this is an attack on Islam. Those people don't care about you.
And if you follow the logic of all muslims are terroirists, you must ascribe by the theory all christians are KKK members.

So...... What your saying is if we don't let in these refugees in, Isis/islam will not be happy and might out of anger attack the United States because we didn't do what they wanted? I believe that's called being help hostage.
No one said all Muslim are terrorist but the French Muslims had a rally last night and I believe 30 Muslims showed up. Not a bad turnout for 5 million muslims in France.

I think it is ridiculus that Obama says Republicans are against widows and orphans coming into this country. What an a$$hole! This is not mothers and orphans coming to our country! These are grown men, fighting age, and do not like the principles we stand for. Once elected, the president is supposed to protect all the citizens of the United States, not just himself or his party. He is not the president of his party anymore. He is the president of our united country, Republicans and Democrats alike. He needs to listen to all the people, not just his party or special interest groups. Five Syrians were caught the other day in Honduras with fake passports, eight more were caught at the Laredo border. It's just a matter of time. btw; Didn't the first woman involved blow herself and her buddies up?   Where exactly are these widows and orphans again? |

The immigrants in France are allowed to have dual citizenship they don't have to denounce their country of origin. The terror mastermind had ties to Syria as did a few other of the attackers.
Most of all its not about immigrants its about security. The Presidents primary job is to protect the American people not to poke and mock his opponents. The President has show us that he doesn't have a grasp on what is going on in the world with ISIS. The morning of the Paris attacks Obama asserted that ISIS was not gaining strength and that “we have contained them.” Today Americans have been issued a warning by our State Dept. Worldwide travel alert over terror threats so I don't know about anyone else but I don't think the Obama Admin has a clue.

The Boston Bombers were not refugees. They entered the US on tourist visas. Much like student visas they are very easy to get. Refugees enter through an exhaustive process that lasts from 18 to 24 months to process.

Parents came to United States on a tourist visa and once here asked for asylum. They received asylum and sent for their kids who once here were given asylum. As we saw yesterday, we're more at risk from rightwing extremists than from refugees. Conservative rhetoric radicalizes people already in the country, no need to bring them in from elsewhere.

I absolutely agree, but what will this vetting process be? The one we have now has failed us at least twice since the 9/11 attacks. It is said that DHS and the rest of national security has to be right 100% of the time but the terrorists only need to be right once. They had once on 9/11, again in Boston, and now a third time in San Bernardino. The current vetting process isn't working well enough with the normal level of immigrants, how will it be stand up when it has to deal with an influx of refugees? |
