One of the things that I do is run a few area local businesses' Facebook and Twitter pages. The reason that they pay me to do this is partly to reach more people, and partly out of convenience.
If you are trying to get people to follow you and even more important, reach the people who are following you, a pro can help and here's how:
We know when to post specific things that peak the attention of your customers. There are specific times that people are more likely to be on Facebook looking for your product than other times. Here's an example...You run a deli and have a lunch special that you want people to know about. Do you post something at 4PM? No, obvious right? How about 12 Noon? If you answered "yes" to Noon, your wrong too. By Noon, people already have a lunch spot in mind and might already even be eating. You want to post the ad right when people are hungry and killing time leading up to lunch. Weekends though, are entirely different. Also, what kind of message will you post? "Today special: Reuben And Soup for $5" sounds like a good idea, but is it? Is it a "stacked" or "mile-high" or "award winning" sandwich? You better have a picture, or don't even bother.
Experts know how to build urgency, hit when your product is right on the mind of the consumer, and create a posting that is more than 'just the facts'. Ideally, you want people to 'share' every post that you push out and all posts should be constructed with that in mind.
There is also the matter of organic Vs paid ads. If an ad is constructed well and timed correctly, you do not need to spend money for views. You can end up paying a pro less money than you are already spending on Facebook, etc. There are times when a paid push is needed, but it is far and few when yo can market organically with a great post.
On to convenience...
Time is money. You pay someone to cut the grass, paint the deck, rake the leaves, fix the car... Why not pay someone to push social media posts that, like a mechanic, already knows what to do and how to do it.
There's my business in a nutshell. If you want to grow your business for not a lot of money and no aggravation, Email me at webmaster@kentisland.org
