What is everyone's thoughts on the recent primary elections? Some upsets (Koval), some not so surprising to me. I would have thought that the voter turnout would have been greater, especially with the amount of signs around...! ;D

As of late yesterday, Hoffman is out - but it was neck-in-neck between Joseph Cupani and "Bud" Roe in District 1.
Ransom ran unopposed, so he's in and will go up against Foley who beat out Janet Boldyga and Joseph Mason.
The GOP Board President race will be Eric Wargotz Vs. Jack Broderick.
Kurt Babe ousted Commissioner Richard Smith in District 2 and will go on to take on Democrat Paul Gunther.
That's all as of late yesterday, but should be accurate.

Thanks, It's a shame I would have wanted Mike Hoffman in. He is a good guy and would have been good commissioner.

Michael Hoffman is a good guy. He and thingy Smith essentially split up too many votes though (each with a little over 1100). That essentially sealed the victory for Kurt Babe with 1367 votes.

I'm glad Koval is out. That seemed to be a conflict of interest, didnt he own a construction company? I'm also glad Knight is out for sheriff.

QACbuzz.com has posted the updated results after the absentee ballot count. It looks like Joe Cupani has held on.
